Rickard Guy has been a brand or moniker since 2008 representing the commercial enterprises of Daniel McRorie. In 2013 an old cap factory was acquired with a couple of friends. Initially thinking it would be a side hustle, this 8,000 sq ft space took over all other businesses for the next 4-5 years.

Private label manufacturing of caps was in high demand right from the beginning. All variety of caps were developed and produced for the Knickerbocker Manufacturing private label program, Rickard Guy, as well as the early caps for Knickerbocker Clothing Company such as baseball, 5 panel, work, bucket, 8 quarter, driver, flat cap and the list goes on.

Rickard Guy offered product development to clients and made many other caps and accessories to their specs. Aside from refining the patterns and shapes, the manufacturing process was always improving.
